We rent out our Community Center (gym) for birthdays, weddings, receptions, graduations, retirement or any other kind of party you need a larger area.
To reserve the Community Center the user must submit a Community Center Application along with a $200.00 security deposit. The security deposit will be returned to the user when the key is returned back to the City Clerk and no damage was done.
Proof of Liability insurance is required prior to your event.
Rent is $30.00 an hour or $250.00 for a full day, if you want to set up early and time is available that is a $30.00 fee for set up and clean up. Renter may be subject to a $50.00 cleaning fee on larger parties.
The Community Center has a nice kitchen that is included with your hourly rent along with plenty of tables and chairs.
You do not need to be a Scanlon resident to rent our Community Center. For more information please call the City Clerks office at 218-879-4578. The office is open Monday-Thursday from 12 pm to 4 pm. The office is closed on Fridays and all major holidays.
